• Is  a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)  through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Nevada, Reno
• Obtained  a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Nevada State College  (Summa Cum Laude) and a Bachelor of Arts in English from California  State University, Sacramento
• Has completed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training through the Beck Institute
• Is an American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) Board of Directors Student Scholar
• Has been inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies
